I just finished reading “Emerald Queen: The Tale of Teia Tephi” by Jennifer Hartz, and I’m still reeling from the experience. This book is a masterclass in historical fiction, with the author’s meticulous research and attention to detail transporting me to a world of ancient kingdoms and forgotten lore.

But what truly sets this book apart is the way it brings to life the story of Tephi, a Judean princess who becomes the queen of Ireland. Tephi’s love for the Torah of Yahweh is a constant theme throughout the book, and it’s impossible not to be swept up in her passion and devotion. As I read, I found myself falling deeply in love with Tephi’s character, and imagining that I was right there with her on her journey to the Emerald Isle.

Hartz’s writing is engaging and immersive, making it easy to become fully invested in Tephi’s story.
