Marilu Bechard

Marilu Bechard is a retired teacher, herbalist, sculptor, and digital artist. Throughout her long life, however, it has always been fiction writing that has drawn her back again and again. She has authored three novels, two of which remain unpublished. From the time her high school English teacher in the 1960’s encouraged her to write, she has done so. Her files bulge with short stories. She also reads prolifically and is especially curious about extra-biblical texts. This study of alternative biblical narratives has inspired her current interest in writing historically based fiction. When not at her laptop, Marilu can be found stirring up healing elixirs or tending her restorative herb garden.
