Meet the Shelves of Shalom Publishing Team!

Editor-In-Chief

Jennifer Hartz is the author of over a dozen novels spanning the speculative genres and covering multiple age ranges. From demon-fighting teen superheroes, to fantasy lands with mythical creates, to Biblical historical fiction, Jennifer runs the gambit with the tales she weaves. Formally an eductor, Jennifer now spends her days homeschooling her children. Recently, she’s donned the hat of Editor-in-Chief for Shelves of Shalom Publishing. Outside of writing, editing, and teaching, Jennifer loves spending time with her family, in depth Torah and Bible studies, conspiracy theory rabbit holes, everything Irish, and (even though the NFL is most likely rigged) watching Pittsburgh Steelers football. Artistic Director

Kim is an award-winning online interactivity specialist with a bent for information architecture and visualization. <- What does that even mean???

Her career pathway took her on a journey she couldn’t have ever planned. Starting with a degree in Information Technology which she did not finish because the work she was doing was years ahead of what the university could teach. Moving into banking and insurance online information delivery at a time when the Internet was still monochrome, she learned how to make information visual. Further career movements into adult education birthed her passion for designing engaging online education solutions for adults.

Then in 2019, after intensive scrambling up and down truther topics, she eventually found TUC and Torah. And she hasn’t stopped researching. Now she also takes time out to support Shelves of Shalom with logo development, cover designs, supporting resources, book trailers, and who knows what next? It’s a rewarding journey of discovery.

Her most recent awards (Diamond and Gold) being for Andrew Hoy’s Project 314 and their work on shifting Beit Shaddai (unpacking the Pi-based tabernacle) online. And this would not have been possible without the complex web of events since 2019…
